Delegation of the company Tigar AD from Pirot, led by Vladimir Ilić, Company CEO, visited strategic buyers and potential partners in Sweden and Denmark so as to increase production, product quality and sales for the current year and the forthcoming three-year period.

With company “Ilse Jacobsen” leader in production of fashion clothing and footwear in Scandinavia, company Tigar contracted a realization of approximately 50.000 pairs of shoes, worth around 1.200.000 euros with a growth prospect of 15-20% in 2019 and 2020. 

According to CEO Vladimir Ilić, based on negotiations with Swedish enterprise “Wise Shoes”, as of August this year Tigar from Pirot should start trial production of a new product – rubber sneakers, which would be for sale in fall/winter 2018. 

Within the sphere of rubber footwear, Swedish company “Shepherd” plans to realize up to 2.000.000 euros in 2018, with a significant share in production by Tigar AD from Pirot. Tigar from Pirot produces standard safety program for the Swedish market under brand name L&N, and in addition it produces a complete range of “leisure boots”, sport and fashion program under brand name Sulman. During the visit, there were negotiations with the company “Shepherd” about launching children’s footwear program which would require joint venture and possible partnership between the two companies. 

CEO Ilić pointed out that visiting the Scandinavian market as well as contracting terms of business is part of the activities undertaken by Tigar from Pirot in order to realize plans for 2018, as well as to achieve increase in production and product quality for the forthcoming three-year period. The planned products fully conform to the requests of market and possibilities of production processes of the factory Tigar from Pirot.
