Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the Ministry of Trade and the newspaper "Economic Review" have proclaimed the best brands on the Serbian market in 2014, on June 9 in Belexpo Center.

160 corporate brands have applied for the competition and the best were announced in 24 categories.

The concept of the award ceremony was different this year. The awards were delivered to the employees of the awarded companies, because behind every successful brand are responsible and hardworking people. The event was held under the slogan "The best is in people."

Tigar Rubber Footwear has been awarded in the category Best brand - manufactured goods and business services.

On behalf of Tigar Rubber Footwear, the best worker, Tomislav Manic has received the award, employed on the post of the foreman with experience of over 35 years. Mr. Manic was chosen to represent his company on the basis of results he has achieved, his dedication, achievement and exceptional contribution to the improvement of the production quality and a high degree of teamwork.

Winners were selected based on three sets of criteria: market - financial perceptions of examinees - voting of consumers and business partners and reviews of the expert jury consisting of Marko Čadež, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Rasim Ljajic, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications and Zeljko Sertic, Minister of Economy.

Among those that were awarded are "Babmi" playma biscuit, "Mona," "Carnex", "Jelen" beer, "Nectar", "Metalac boiler", "PS fashion", "Infostud", Hemofarm and many other brands. There were also awarded for the first time some events promoting our country, "Belgrade beer fest" and the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad.
